Armed police guarding FA Cup final after Manchester bomb

AARON RAMSEY has made it very clear he wants Arsene Wenger to stay at Arsenal following the Gunners' FA Cup final victory over Chelsea.

Britain's Prince William, third from left, stands next to wreaths laid on the side of the pitch, as a tribute to the victims of the Manchester bomb attack, before the during the English FA Cup final soccer match between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Wembley stadium in London, Saturday, May 27, 2017.

"It was very hard to think about celebrating winning the league after the Arsenal defeat, to think we'd arrive at the end of the season and be celebrating winning the league", he said. Chelsea's rivals will be eager to overtake them next season. But the Gunners missed out on the top four and have a host of injury concerns ahead of the Wembley clash.

When the sides met again at Stamford Bridge in early February, Chelsea outplayed Arsenal to win 3-1, getting goals from Marcus Alonso, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas before the visitors netted a late consolation.

"I think that is how they will be approaching the game - to complete the job - and this Chelsea team is a machine that is very hard to stop. But for sure, Arsene Wenger is a great manager for me".

If Chelsea supporters have been dreaming over the last few months, their opponents have been enduring a nightmare. (But) Lampard is finished, Didier Drogba is finished, Ashley Cole, John Terry now.

While the Frenchman continues to be targeted by the vociferous "Wenger Out" brigade, Arsenal's season-ending run of seven wins in eight games means they approach the game with something of a spring in their step. And the image that the club has [been] given in recent weeks is absolutely unacceptable because it tarnishes the impeccable image that the club has all over the world. So we have to be ready for that.

The Blues are looking to win the FA Cup for the first time since 2012 when Roberto Di Matteo's men were 2-1 winners against Liverpool.

Cech moved from Chelsea to Arsenal in 2015 but has failed to win a major trophy for the North London club since he arrived.

"And I am happy for the manager and for him to get another FA Cup, we're delighted". I take note of anyone - Tottenham play with that formation, Chelsea have - there are a lot of teams.

Arsene Wenger may have looked on ruefully.

Wenger's switch to a back three - mirroring Chelsea - has helped Arsenal find a second wind, but the defence he aligns beneath the Wembley arch will be far from a first-choice triumvirate.

"I give them always out".

Despite an avalanche of criticism coming his way, most notably his performance in the big games, Ozil's numbers have been pretty okay this season. That is all I try to do, learn from mistakes.
