UK Labour leader accuses Theresa May of 'pandering' to Trump

Labour officials said the leaked document had since been amended but it was not clear whether any of the changes related to the Brexit section or the reference to Gibraltar.

The draft manifesto was signed off by the party's executives during a meeting on Thursday.

"In other words these Labour proposals would increase the state pension costs by around 10%".

"Corbyn is simply too weak and shambolic to stand up to terrorists and tyrants who want to do us harm".

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said that "waiting to see which way the wind blows in Washington isn't strong leadership".

Mr Corbyn has said if he was in Downing Street there would be "no more hand holding" with President Trump - a reference to Mrs May's meeting with the new president in the White House. "And pandering to an erratic administration will not deliver stability", he said.

The left-winger has also been criticised for inviting Sinn Fein chief Gerry Adams to the House of Commons shortly after the provisional IRA, attempted to murder then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher with a bombing in Brighton in 1984.

Mr Johnson spoke out on the day Mr Corbyn accused Theresa May of "pandering" to Donald Trump during a speech in which the Labour leader insisted he was "not a pacifist".

Polish left-wing groups have called on Poles in the United Kingdom to support the Labour Party in the upcoming British parliamentary election, a statement by the Polish branch of Labour International has said.

The former MP for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath unleashed a scathing attack on the parties rivalling Labour in the election.

Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to use the news as leverage in a speech in the north east.

Mr Kenny's comments come following the leak of the party's draft manifesto today (Thursday), which has lead some commentators to suggest members of Jeremy Corbyn's own party could be out to sabotage him and destablize the party in the run up to the General Election on June 8.

Mr Nuttall, who is standing in Boston and Skegness in the General Election, added he was in for the "long haul" with Ukip. "Labour will re-examine the arms export licensing regulations to ensure that all British arms exports are consistent with our legal and moral obligations", he added.

He also said that if his party were to get a majority next month, his focus would have to be on "strengthening global cooperation and supporting the efforts of the United Nations to resolve conflicts".

"If they don't want me across the table, there is a reason for that - it is in Britain's interests, not theirs".

Labour's manifesto will offer a vision of a Britain in which "nobody is ignored, nobody is forgotten, nobody is left behind", Jeremy Corbyn has said.

He will argue that seeking "peaceful solutions" is a better way of protecting Britain than "the kind of unilateral wars and interventions that have nearly become routine in recent times".
