Stranger Things Creators Tease Major Season 2 Villain

Stranger Things Season 2 Monster

Stranger Things Season 2 Monster

If you recall, the teaser trailer for the second installment of the Netflix original series teased an enormous monster cascading down from the heavens, revealing a much bigger threat this time around.

One of last year's surprise hits is due to return this Halloween for a second season, and the two men behind the show, the Duffer Brothers, have spoken about the direction and approach that will be shown towards next season's monsters. Which, in this case, I'm not here for because we need to protect everyone on this precious show. Since the D&D game earlier in season one had the kids fight a Demogorgon, which then went on to be the the season's monster, it was assumed that season two's monster would follow the same convention. "Something happens to Will in the first couple of episodes that's very, very disturbing", said Wolfhard.

We all knew that when Stranger Things returns for Season 2, it will come back with a bigger scope.

A few new clues have been revealed about "Stranger Things" season 2...

The cast and writers have been giving out little titbits of information about season 2 (like at the recent Netflix Emmy event) and here is what we have found out about the next season for Netflix's breakout show.

What are you looking forward to on "Stranger Things" Season 2? "The pressure is we know people are going to watch it", he said.

These Upside Down creatures, according to the directors, are very much part of the second season.

And Noah Schnapp - who plays Will - hints that he'll still be affected by his incarceration in the Upside Down. In the first season Will returned from the Upside Down but something was off about him. Season 2 "maintains that sense of fun, which was so important to the first season", he promises. The technique this time is to practice restraint would be "hiding the monsters", which they both feel can be more effective than seeing up close.
