Video shows Tiger Woods performing 2 breath tests at jail

Police in Jupiter, Florida arrested Woods early on Memorial Day after finding him sleeping in his auto.

Woods is scheduled to be arraigned July 5 in Palm Beach County Court. The golf legend has said that he had an unexpected reaction after taking medication.

Kaymer, who is a two-time major victor himself, pointed to the number of people Woods has inspired as a 14-time major victor and one of the best golfers in the history of the sport. Woods issued a statement almost 10 hours after he was released from jail on Monday that alcohol was not involved.

Tiger Woods mumbled his words and had trouble keeping his balance.

Rumors later circulated on social media that Woods was out partying with model Laci Kay Somers hours before his arrest, but she claims she was in Los Angeles at the time and was not with the golfer. He was released on his own recognizance. The deputy tells him his "bracelets" will come off soon as he returns to his chair.

When asked to recite the alphabet without singing it, Woods allegedly thought he was instructed to say the national anthem backward.

Police photos of Woods' vehicle revealed his two driver's side tires were flat, with both rims and the front bumper damaged.

"I need you to make a tight seal with your lips and blow directly", the deputy explains, whistling and waving to get his attention. He said he was headed to Orange County.

After almost 30 minutes of questioning, Woods was put in handcuffs and taken away. "I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly".

The arrest affidavit listed four medications, including Vicodin. The statement also praised the police officers who handled his case for their professionalism.

The officer noted the athlete's speech was "slow" and "very slurred".

Andrew Zimbalist, an economics professor at Smith College in MA, said sponsors will likely cut ties with Woods should the results show he was lying. Visibly wobbly and dazed, the 41-year-old golfer moves slowly as he tries to comply with officers' directions. Now that one is, too'. He was unable to pass field sobriety tests and appeared intoxicated.

Woods struggled to simply put his feet together.

As an officer moves a light in front of his face during the test, he fails to follow it with his eyes. When asked to walk a straight line by going heel-to-toe nine times, he staggered, often strayed outside the white line and occasionally lost his balance. He never connected heel-to-toe.

There was one lighthearted moment during Woods' booking process, however.

He is then read his rights while seated with his hands cuffed behind his back.

Woods announced last week he had undergone a fourth back surgery in April that will keep him off the course for the rest of the 2017 season.
